1. Cancel within 3 hours
Cancellations must be made within 3 hours of placing your order to be eligible for a refund. Cancellation requests received after 3 hours are not eligible for a refund.
2. 30% handling fee
A handling fee of 30% will be levied on cancelled orders. The balance is refunded through the original payment method where reasonably possible.
3. Personalised items
Personalised items are non-refundable once production has started, even if cancellation is made within 3 hours. Urgent, same-day and event-dated orders may enter production immediately after payment, so please confirm names, artwork, delivery details and dates before paying.
4. Deposits
All deposits are non-refundable and credit notes are not redeemable for cash.
5. Delivery cancellation or address changes
Address changes are subject to courier or driver availability. Once dispatched, an order may attract a reasonable redirection, return or second-delivery cost.
6. Cancellation by Makoye Gifts
Makoye Gifts may cancel where payment is not verified, supplied content is unlawful, essential materials are unavailable, delivery is unsafe or fulfilment is not reasonably possible. The customer will be offered a suitable alternative or refund for the unfulfilled portion.
7. How to cancel
Send the order reference and your cancellation request in writing to info@makoye.co.za or +27 12 881 4532 within 3 hours of placing the order. Makoye Gifts confirms the cancellation and any refund in writing.
