1. Customer-supplied details
The customer must check names, spelling, dates, numbers, colours, quantities, sizes and delivery details before submitting the order. Makoye Gifts may query obvious issues but is not responsible for an error that was supplied and approved by the customer.
2. Artwork and image quality
- Supply the highest-resolution original file available.
- Avoid screenshots, heavily compressed social-media images or images copied from small web previews.
- Logos should preferably be supplied in vector PDF, SVG, EPS or high-resolution transparent PNG format.
- Images must be clear, correctly oriented and free from unwanted cropping.
3. Proofs and approval
Where a proof is offered, production starts after approval. Approval confirms the layout, wording, spelling, placement and general appearance shown in the proof.
A proof displayed on a phone or computer is an approximation. Reasonable differences may occur because screens, printers, materials, lighting and handmade production reproduce colour differently.
4. Rights to submitted content
The customer confirms that they own the submitted content or have permission to reproduce it. The customer remains responsible for claims caused by content supplied without the necessary rights.
Makoye Gifts receives only the limited permission needed to prepare proofs, produce the item, fulfil the order and provide after-sales support.
5. Content Makoye Gifts may refuse
Makoye Gifts may refuse content that is unlawful, threatening, hateful, exploitative, deceptive, unsafe, defamatory, sexually abusive or apparently infringes another person’s rights.
6. Changes after approval
Changes requested after approval or production start may require a new proof, revised delivery date and reasonable additional charge. A replacement is not automatically due for an error that exactly matches the customer-approved proof.
7. Makoye production errors
Where the supplied item materially differs from the approved proof or confirmed instructions because of a Makoye production error, contact us promptly. Makoye Gifts will assess and provide the appropriate correction, replacement or refund without limiting statutory rights.
